this project was a lot of fun. purchased a few and gave as gifts. so much fun and beautiful

This was a challenge. Have glue handy! Parts were very delicate which made it a difficult build. Luckily, I had glue from another build!

The end product is beautiful but incredibly fragile. You cant turn it more than once or twice without something getting caught and I am always careful about sanding and waxing all parts. But still loved the project

I bought this as a gift for my granddaughter. The building instructions are good and detailed. I’ve built models all my life so I found it entertaining and interesting to put together. Finesse is required as all of the parts are a “press fit” sometimes a little sanding and lube-meaning wax-helps a piece fit. ( not just where they want you to sand and wax for ease of movement) Otherwise the force that is sometimes required will snap a piece. They do provide extra parts for the ones they seem to “know” will break during the building processBuild carefully and gently as they can be fragileVery well made functional models! I’ve built several and will continue to build more. I’m hooked!

The media could not be loaded. This is a great kit! Instructions were easy to follow. Be sure to use the wax to make it work well. I really enjoyed putting this together and the end result is awesome!

I love puzzles, and I loved this one. Took me 4 hours and 45 minutes and I took my time. However, about 12 pieces broke while installing and I was using kid gloves after seeing the reviews.Everything either requires you to snap a piece into an interlocking piece (like a puzzle, duh) or to take these VERY small pinhole size wooden pegs and jam them into another piece to lock things in. While there are more than enough pegs to complete the project if the pegs break, the pieces you put into the pegs have no duplicates. I learned my lesson after a wooden peg lodged under my fingernail which was extremely painful. At that point I began using the table to press the pieces together.At least two of the instructions should be done a different way because you almost have to remove what you already did to make things work. They give you some weird wooden tool to help “fix” this issue, but you’ll find yourself using tweezers instead.With all that being said I did enjoy putting this together. It looks great. It does exactly what it says it does - play music as the merry go round goes in circles. However, expect several needed pieces to break and have a copious amount of wood glue at the ready.

Really impressed at the design and planning that went into this carousel kit. The instructions are clear and the illustrations are detailed and easy to follow. The wood although thin in some areas is remarkably pliable. I did not have any problems with broken pieces but I was also very careful. When the wax is applied the pieces go together with ease. Finished product functions properly and looks fantastic.
