Doesn’t reflect the purpose
The product has 2 sachets it’s expensive comparing such less amount and worthless comparing to the end result I make regular yogurt at home that much more think than this I follow the written instructions using a standing thermometer but I a yogurt that didn’t set in specified time nor got the correct consistency at all Yogurt was loose even after it set in the fridge I’m not sure what is the issue whether the starter is not active or not been stored well or the instructions I’ll try it my way and see

2nd packet didn’t work
Bought and made 1st batch using 1st packet. It was thin consistency yoghurt. But after multiple batches, it turned out nice. Then, I needed to use the second packet as we were travelling couldn’t make batches any longer. When tried the second packet, it didn’t work. Thought it was always kept in refrigerator. Disappointed as it’s very expensive and only 1 packet worked.

Excelente iniciador de yogurt. Gran sabor, facil de preparar y tipo heirloom por lo que me puedo olvidar de los envases plásticos para siempre.

GREAT STUFF, DON'T USE HER TIMING, USE WHAT YOUR MACHINE RECOMMENDS
I don't understand why so much hate for this product. I bought the Ultimate Probiotic yogurt maker. Instead of using her timing I used what the makers of the yogurt machine recommend in 36 hours and the temperature she recommends. I think you need to use what your machine recommends and not what she wrote. I haven't made yogurt in decades and IT CAME OUT PERFECT! AND DELICIOUS AND NOT RUNNY! I got two more jars so I can have this stuff all the time. After the 36 hours you put it in fridge which makes it more thick. Will buy again, but you just keep using a teaspoon to start your next batch. The commercial yogurts always have SUGAR in them and flavoring, I don't want any of that. Most of them aren't healthy.

It might have been old or a bad batch, but total failure and waste of $$$
I was very disappointed with this yogurt starter. I followed the instructions carefully and used it with two quarts of goat milk. The milk was properly prepared, cooled to the recommended temperature, and incubated for the recommended time. Unfortunately, the yogurt never thickened at any stage of the process. It remained completely liquid, with no yogurt formation or gel structure. I even extended the incubation time to allow the culture more opportunity to work, but there was still no change. I used two packets for the batch, so the amount of starter was not the issue. I understand that homemade yogurt can sometimes vary depending on milk type and conditions, but I expected at least some signs of fermentation. Since this starter did not activate at all, I cannot recommend it based on my experience. I hope the manufacturer will review the quality and viability of the cultures. I wish I had read the other reviews which had the same experience, I forgot about brown specks in the product and the experience was a waste of money, goat milk at half a gallon plus this price was about $28 to throw away!!
