Love that song. Why do Asians ferment soy? You go to the internet search and type in: Why is fermented soy beneficial? used it for Korean soybean noodle soup
I used this product to make kong guksu (cold Korean soybean noodle soup). I used a hand blender to mix the soybean power with water, and a little salt. (per serving: 4-4.5 T soybean powder + 1.5 cups water + 3/8 tsp kosher salt). Turned out well!

Great flavor!
Adds a mild nutty flavor to protein smoothies. I was looking to add more plant based protein to my smoothies since I learned that dairy can interfere with the absorption of some vitamins and minerals. Long, unnecessary, story about how I decided on soy flour vs other plant protein, but anyways, I knew eating raw soy flour was a bad idea so that's how I ended up here. On a whim I searched toasted soy bean flour and this product popped up. It's a great price, tastes great, its a whole food, and toasting it cooks the parts that would cause GI distress. I use a high powered blender to really pulverize the fruit and veg well so I've not experienced any clumping with this product. I usually add some vanilla extract or coco powder to amp up the flavor and this toasted flour complements those flavors. It's kind of a toasty malted milk flavor but with out the sweetness.

Terrible taste
Don't waste your money. The taste was terrible. I can't make a porridge with that. This product is not soy powder 100%...

I am switching over to these package rather than buying in tubs. Once you open a large tub, the powder starts getting stale. With these packets, you only open a packet when you want to use it, and then squeeze the air out before resealing. But be careful when squeezing or you will get a plume of soy powder tossed into the air. Same or even better quality as you buy in the tubs, only this way the soy is protected better.
