I was almost put off buying this because of complaints from others saying this wheel doesn't run true etc. After dressing with a diamond stick (which you need to do with all wheels regardless of brand) it runs perfectly fine and balanced. I'm impressed with the finish it leaves on tools, it replaces a 60 grit wheel which was a bit too aggressive for sharpening chisels but this is perfect.

Tried to sharpen scissors, never tried this but did not get a good result cause I did not know what I was doing, should have used the oil stone. The other jobs went very well, Sharpening large knives, garden tools like scrapers (Putting a cutting edge on & Squaring off the scrapers edge for paint scraping. The original stone was way to course.

Good quality wheel minimal dressing required on the periphery but overall a good product would deffinately buy again.

These are a very good budget grinding wheel the best I have found for the price and I use a lot of grinding wheels.👍

I needed to replace the grinding wheel on my bench grinder, which in fairness is an old (although still perfectly working) Black and Decker one and with an assortment of bushes this seemed that it would do the job. Advertised as having 5 reduction rings with bore sizes of between 12.7 and 31.75mm, what they don’t give is the actual ring sizes and it is only when you receive it you may find, as I did, it is not suitable for the shaft on you grinder. The B&D has a 20mm shaft and with the closet reduction ring being 22.23mm that would be too dangerous to use. So to help anyone else looking at this grinding wheel I have added a photo of the box showing the ring sizes, just a pity that Draper didn’t include it in their description.

Llevo poco tiempo con ella pero se ve un producto de calidad. Solo he afilado unos cuchillos y bastante bien. Oscila un poco pero puede ser de mi motor que ya es viejo aunque a más velocidad va bien. La volvería a comprar.
