Teaching a grade-1 class of 25, I have to be loud and clear to make teaching effective. This voice amplifier just saved my voice and has assisted greatly in teaching. Best tool for all teachers.

Disappointed. Hardly gives out any extra volume. This was a waste of money for me.

Update: I’ve been using this for about 2 years. I charge it every night and use it the next day without issues. It’s a game changer as a teacher who loses her voice constantly from having to project. Now I can talk at a regular level and everyone can hear me. I’ve been wearing it cross-body and I have the mic upside down and resting on my neck, pointing the mic up at my mouth. I only use it on my ears when I’ve lost my voice. It’s too much pressure because I wear glasses. The mic is very good and can be heard even if it’s in an awkward place that my students don’t even think is weird. We’ve moved so I don’t use it every day anymore but I was subbing and found it extremely useful to overcome their chattiness quickly. This mic is a game changer and I wouldn’t teach whole group without it. 1st review: It worked every time I needed it during our VBS. I plan on using it while I sub this year at school. Last year we had a girl with hearing difficulties and I wish I’d had something to keep me from having to talk so loudly. I charged it the night before and it was ready to go. I could keep it on my head or wear it down like a necklace with the mic pointing up. Either way was able to be heard easily by the large amounts of loud kids in a small space.

I am a teacher in a primary school. I really like the way this works and can fit it under my mask. Students are able to hear my quiet voice inside and outside, and I have much more energy at the end of the day. I have been wearing it on the shoulder strap. Today (1 week after receiving and starting to use the device) I tried removing the belt tab because it was unnecessary while using the shoulder strap. I saw that it had arrows to remove it and took it out. Then I tried to put it back but the plastic tabs broke. So now I don't have the option to hang it on my belt. I would like to have a replacement part if possible. The only other problem with this device for me is that the charger has US plugs (I am in Australia). However it fits my other Apple chargers, so I can manage. If I could have the belt piece replaced I would be very happy with this device.

My initial experience with this product is good. I can handle a class 90 students effectively now. I shall update the details in due time later

Great purchase! It is very loud and it holds the battery for a long time, like 2 weeks. I use it in a classroom about 4 hours off and on and also took it out to P.E. The students could hear me clear across the school playground. The volume control works very well. I am able to adjust it easily. I would recommend it for any teacher or presenter. The microphone works well but would also like this to include a microphone you attach to a laper or collar. Another thing I would improve is the belt. The coils that attach to the belt and the speaker easily turn and the belt has slipped off a few times. I've tried to tape the coils so they stay in place, but to no effect. I would make the belt a bit thicker material, with the coils swapped out for maybe key chain rings, and would offer more length. I am about a size 14 woman, but if you are a bit larger than that around the waist it may not fit around your waist. I had purchased something similar in the past and the belt fit like a purse i could strap across the front of my body. I preferred that design over this one. Also that strap was thicker and it didn't have the coil issue.
