Kings & Queens

A Great Introduction to the new AA and encouragement for living!!! Get this today!
It's been awhile, since I'd heard Kevin Max or Audio Adrenaline, but after hearing "King's & Queens" on Effect Radio I decided to check it out. And I'm so glad I did.The sound is incredible and hits you right off the bat with catch riffs and Kevin Max's distinctive voice."He Moves You Move" - is a foot tapping, pop-like song that you'll find yourself humming along right away."King's & Queens" - this is particularly moved me as I have a teen who when I hear this song I realized like all those in need. "Boy's will be kings, girls will be queens, wrapped in Your Majesty. When we leave the least of these". Yes, even us adults need that assurance."Believer" is an anthem that you will sing at the top of your lungs "I'm not afraid, I'm a believer"!"King of the comebacks" - is a rolling wave of music beats and fervor. This song grew on me."Change My Name" - redemption and forgiveness let's us be changed to redeemed. A song that has Kevin Max's past experiences written throughout, but it's also our song too."20:17 (Raise the Banner) - another anthem of togetherness and fighting the unseen warfare through praise."Fire Never Sleeps" - very much a U2-sounding song, but has the new AA signature. Replayed a lot!"Seeker" has a great groove and lyrics point us to the Creator who is The Answer!"I Climb the Mountain" - another U2-style song that pleads to not "hide the light", but instead to climb the mountain and share the light of salvation and God who saves us."The Answer" - this song is the perfect completion of an album full of hope and focusing us on the forgiving God. If you've heard Kevin Max's recent testimony this is the song of his life. "A new hope, some story arranging, It’s a new sunrise through my newborn eyes, Cause I found the way, the truth, the life". He states for all of us that like the Prodigal Son from the Bible, we find that God truly the answer. What a great reunion with Kevin Max and a full listen to the new AA. Get this album, play it in your house, your car, your iPod. Share it with your family, your children, you friends! Well worth the money you spend to be encouraged in your faith.

Great return for a legendary group...well sort of
This is not the old Audio Adrenaline with Mark Stuart. I myself haven't personally listened to much of AA's stuff except for their album bloom before this one. That album was great foot pedaling music. I'm a casual cyclist. This album has some of the old rock n roll style AA was famous for but is mostly softer. That said, Kevin Max does a great job on lead vocals. Lyrically, and i don't know why a good deal of Christian albums have this problem nowadays, is that the first 4 to 6 songs seem to be great or very good and the other ones kinda run out of steam. I hope this changes but at the same time, if you like feel good, excercising, praising our God type music you can't go wrong here. Hopefully like Michael Tait of the Newsboys, Kevin Max will get more and more comfortable with AA and really 'take it' to new levels. If you like band restarts check this one out...its not the old AA but good in its own way. Ironic i said restart considering that's the title of the upcoming Newsboys album comin this September 2013.

Audio Adrenaline Resonates (again)
KINGS & QUEENS is a delicious first offering from the remixed line-up of Audio Adrenaline. At once it is a respectful nod to the legacy of Audio Adrenaline with light, pop ringers like “He Moves, You Move,” and “King Of The Comebacks,” but, also, a bold step forward breaking new ground for the band with songs such as “The Answer,” and “Seeker.” Both tracks are delivered skillfully by Dave Ghazarian (guitar), Jared Byers (drums), Jason Walker (keyboard) and original Audio Adrenaline member Will McGinniss, in an arrangement with a vibe that fits new lead singer Kevin Max like a tailored Italian suit. While the album as a whole is well done, “20:17 (Raise The Banner),” and “I Climb The Mountain,” passionately communicate hope and inspiration in a manner that is sure to resonate with many listeners. The lead single “Kings & Queens” is currently rising through the top ten on the Billboard Christian Songs chart and rightfully so. It raises a flag of hope and awareness for the orphaned and once abandoned children in Haiti that are now being served, fed, sheltered, and educated through the Hands & Feet Project, an organization founded by Mark Stuart and Will McGinniss in 2004. In fact, the entire Audio Adrenaline relaunch is an integral part of The Hands & Feet Project’s effort to raise the awareness and support necessary to expand so that they can care for more children in Haiti, the poorest nation in the western hemisphere, where the need for such care is so desperately critical. Put together cooperatively by original singer Mark Stuart, original bass player Will McGinniss, and the rest of the 2013 Audio Adrenaline line-up, this project delivers cleanly on a musical level and definitely has the potential to deliver on a humanitarian level for the orphans of Haiti through The Hands & Feet Project. Those two factors alone make this one of the most important albums to pay attention to in a long time. The legacy of Audio Adrenaline is alive, well, and moving forward.

Brilliant Album!
I must admit I have not been a big fan of Audio A in the past, although I liked their radio hits. It isn't the band itself that I disliked, it was their style of music. But this is one of their few albums I have bought which I enjoy very much. This is a good one to get. There are very few albums where I like every single track and this is certainly one of them.
