I love this gouache paint so much the overall quality is great so it's worth buying, but please don't use tap water. It can cause mold on your paint I use drinking water and if you're not going to use them for a while, use their himi mildew spray to prevent molds in case it's your first time

Not the best type of gouache in the market, but it was fun to use. Only problem is that some colors get moldy for some reason!

I got this paint set a couple months ago, it’s really cute and travel friendly and comes with lots of great colors! You can add water to the paints to get different finishes and change the opacity to be more watercolor-like which is great! Fun to use as someone new to gouache - one issue though , the paint got moldy!!!!! I haven’t used the paints for around two months and when i opened it today, the dark blue/purple pots were full of mold!!! This happened once before with the same blue pot, I cleaned it out, got rid of the mold and sanitized it, yet it happened again :( I’m gonna have to throw away the moldy ones now.

I bought this set to dabble with gouache paint, and for a beginner like me, this set was absolutely wonderful! I have had it for a quite a bit now (probably about a couple months) and the paints haven't dried up a single bit. They are really easy to reactivate, and the colors are both vibrant and opaque. The palette comes with a ton of paint to work with, and from my experiences, there is definitely enough to be able to mix lots of different colors without fear of using majority of the pan. The only thing that I would be cautious about when using these paints is that you have to store them on a flat surface, otherwise there is a possibility that there could be some cross-contamination of colors (I found this out the hard way). Overall, this is a very affordable set, and I can definitely recommend these paints to anyone who is a beginner, or to anyone who just wants to have fun with a different take on gouache. El gouache de Himi a mi consideración fue muy bueno, todo empezó porque quería ver como funcionaba a comparación de la acuarela. Los colores son muy vibrantes y con una grandiosa cobertura, cuando los mezclas siguen siendo igual de bonitos los colores, no he tenido ningún problema con el material, además de que puedes crear transparencias sin problema alguno o usarlos como colores más opacos encima de otro para diferenciarlos. Lo que sí es que huelen chistoso, no es un olor disgustante pero al principio si te saca de onda. Recomendaría que no le quiten los papelitos de arriba ya que se secan rápido si se los quitamos pero ese papelito los mantiene frescos y se mezclan mejor así.

These gouache paints are quite different to the usual tube gouache. The colours are very vibrant and layer well. Paint left on the palette also re-wets so can be used although this paint is more transparent. I haven’t tested the lightfast quality, however but the paints are good for studio practice

Eu gostei muito da tinta 🍋 ela veio dirietinho em um ótimo estado, bem embalada, veio antes do prazo, a tinta é linda, muito bem pigmentada e fácil de se usar, uma guache realmente excepcional ❤️ fiquei preocupada que não viesse direitinho aqui para o Brasil, mas veio em perfeitamente bem 💙🦋 O preço foi acessível, bom custo e benefício, recomendo 🥀⛩️❤️

I can’t believe I forgot to write a review for these. I’m about to purchase more of them soon. Look, this gouache blew me away. I wasn’t expecting much because they were referred off of an IG account, but I took a risk for the price. I’m a bit of an art supply snob and found that I’m using these more than my $15+ per tiny tube of gouache (nothing against those because I love them too but these are just so easy)! Normally I’m particular and want to know what pigments I’m using because of lightfastness and whatnot, but I threw all that out the window for this set. It was also a pandemic depression buy if I’m being honest, but I don’t regret it. They mix well, they reactivate well, and I can build up texture relatively easily. A little bit goes a long way, and I’m really shocked at how long they’ve lasted so far. And of course the case being pink and coming with adorable brushes doesn’t hurt. The brushes aren’t half bad either! I don’t really use them too much, but for starter brushes they’d work just fine.
