Would the mesh be strong enough? It's a few hundred pounds.** A: I have two such carts, this one and one I purchased from Harbor Freight, both are same size, but the Harbor Freight one has no sides to it. I have my 230 lb generator on it, and it works great, easy to pull. However, the mesh started to break from the legs of the generator. If you are buying this for a heavy generator, cut a board the size of the flat bed, and then put a generator on it. If your gene3rator is not as heavy as mine, it might just work for you.
