Comfortable
I bought this chair after looking through various other chairs in the <$100 (at the time I bought it) range. It looked promising and although it did not have any reviews, other similar Flash Furniture chairs seemed to hold up fairly well. When the chair finally arrived, I was very excited to put it together and test it out. The assembly process is fairly simple, although a few of the screws went in at a weird angle, it fit together well and had no loose parts. It only took me around 30-40 minutes to assemble. The chair itself has a nice faux leather outer layer, it doesn't feel real or anything, however it is nice and smooth. The center of the arm rests are padded with this faux material as well. It's also great because you can easily clean off the chair without worry about it getting stuck like in cloth chairs. My first impression of the chair is that the chair is nice and firm without being too hard. It has nice back support and doesn't have any weird curves or protrusions out the back which would cause your back to be shifted into a weird position. The seating area is large and I could even sit cross legged in the chair if I really tried. After about two months, the chiar has held up fairly well to daily use. It hasn't formed any major issues, however I am noticing that the foam in the seating area is beginning to depress very slightly in the area where I sit. It's not too noticeable and might be perfectly normal but I suspect that it will become more defined in the coming months. Hopefully, the foam holds up and there will be no need for a pillow on the chair. If you are planning to use this chair for office/school work or for light general usage, I would say go ahead and buy it. The chair is very comfortable and I do not regret buying it at all. If however, you plan on using this for an entire workday or for extremely heavy usage, I would suggest that you go to a staples or another store that displays a large collection of office chairs so you can test the product before you buy it.Finally, just for your own comparisons, I believe this is truly a mid back chair for most people. If you are short however, it might be higher for you. I am around 5ft and I can comfortably lean my head back and rest on the top of the chair. I also do not know if the foam in this chair would depress faster for a "heavier" person. I weight around 108 pounds and as I mentioned before, the foam is already being depressed a bit. I generally use the chair for around 4 hours a day.

Great Looking and Comfortable Chair. Difficult to assemble
Now that I have this chair assembled I am in love with it. When I bought this chair it only had three reviews and I was hesitant to buy it because there were comparable chairs with many more reviews, but I decided to give this chair a chance because I loved the way it looked in the picture. At its price point the chair looks and feels about as good as it gets. The leather is soft and feels good on your skin. The armrests are great.I am writing this review because I don't think anyone has accurately described the level of difficulty putting this chair together. The package comes with an inventory list and picture instructions(no words). The instructions are VERY easy to follow and simple in procedure, however, I found every screw to be a real chore to tighten down all the way with the included hex wrench. I am a pretty strong guy and It required just about every bit of torque that my wrist could produce to tighten each screw down all the way. I was worried on several occasions that I may have been stripping the screws. I started putting this chair together myself but this job really requires help to hold things in place while you screw things in. I strongly recommend rotating, tightening each screw a little bit at a time. In the end, once all the screws were all the way in, the chair has come together to be rock solid and I am very happy with my purchase as I have never had such a nice chair at my home computer.

Nice for the price.
I'm not understanding the reviews stating the difficulty in assembly. It's 12 screws. The arms hold the back and bottom together; that's it. But if it helps anyone in the future, just get the screws to bite and don't tighten them all the way down until they are all started. Honestly I didn't even glance at the instructions once. I didn't find any issues with assembly.Anyway, on to the chair. For the $40 it cost (lightning deal, I bought 3 actually), I can't complain about it at all. It's sturdy, comfortable, and looks nice. I feel safe saying there probably isn't a better chair out there for $40.It lacks features, but that's to be expected. Since the arms are directly screwed to both the seat and the back, it doesn't have any real recline. You can adjust the tension to allow the whole thing to tilt, and of course you can raise and lower it, but that's all. Arms are not adjustable, no lumbar adjustment or seatback height adjustment. These are not cons; again, it was $40.Overall a good buy and I am happy with these chairs.

Broken arm rest
Firstly let me say that this is not a bad desk chair. Its actually quite good for a medium range office chair. The chair is quite comfortable and reclines well enough that you don't feel like you have to lean back really hard in order for the chair to recline. I v'e had other chairs that are simply impossible to recline in naturally, you nearly have to push the back part of the chair. Also the chair feels really sturdy, which was a concern of mine since I'm a little on the heavy side. My problem is that the chair came with an arm rest already broken. I decided not to return it since it only looked to be a hair line fracture, however upon construction of the chair it turned into a full break. I have never had a problem with broken items before , so I'm just going to try and fix it myself in order to avoid the trouble of returning it.

Solid product with a bit lacking in cushion/comfort
Good product for a good price. Don't expect the highest quality comfort, but I've had this for six months or so now and it's held up just fine despite leaning slightly to one side (though that's mostly on me). A good amount of cushion on the seat, but not enough in my opinion. I sit in this for long periods of time working at my desk or gaming (several hours sometimes) and it is pretty comfy. Combine it with an extra seat cushion and it'll be great (a combo much more economical than a $500 chair).
