BEST PORTATBLE RADIO
Great sound. Volume control does work. Easy to manually get radio stations. Sturdy and well built. I like it so much that I have bought 5 of them for future gifts, since my first order.

Good little radio
Buy it! I have purchased two for my home and they have great transmission and sound for a small radio. Work with AC and batteries so a double win. I keep one in my kitchen and use one in my bathroom. If you are looking for a quality radio at a good price try this one!

Decent basic radio
I purchased this Radio a while back because I am a news junkie, and need to hear what’s going on in every room. This radio works well, is reliable and.has decent sound. pretty basic, nothing fancy, but definitely good value and I would recommend.

A Simple Solution
This is a very nice, simple, light weight AM/FM radio, perfect for my 91-year-old mother, who's old stereo system died. She is best with low-tech electronics, and this little portable radio fits nicely into her condo lifestyle. I set the radio to a jazz station, and she's very happy hearing it. It brings back memories of her late husband (my father), who was a jazz musician. The sound quality of this radio is good, and she can get many stations that provide a crisp, clear signal. But I suspect she'll keep it on the jazz station. Sometimes simple is best.

Works great for me
After a week review: I have two home stereos and am messing with the cable antennas often to get reception. I did not have a problem with this at all amazingly. No messing with the dial to get the station in. Mowed acreage, took it with me roofing - have not had an issue. I did buy head phones for it but after I got it all together realized it's a mono connection. Amazon sells stereo to mono adapters for a few dollars which worked. I've ran it off batteries for four or five daytime jobs and haven't had to replace the batteries yet. Very pleased.
