I actually hook this up to my shop vac for better suction power. It works great! It would be nice to have a more universal adapter to get a tighter fit.

Whenever I use a vacuum cleaner, my rescued akita sits beside me until I run the hose over his fur. Clearly, someone trained him for this and he enjoyed it. This, set with the comb works, but I have to push the button every stroke. I also bought the 1.1/4 shop vac brush attachment which works with the hose from this set. My dog likes the brush attachment better than the comb, and I only have to clean the teeth a few times. I will use the comb when he is shedding less. Glad I bought both.

I love this for my Saint! Wish I had gotten it sooner. Grooming is so much easier than before. No mess to deal with. I use it on our small shop vac. Holds a groom after bath with ease. I highly recommend this!!

If your animal can stand the sound of the vacuum this is an awesome thing to use. My dog just lays there and enjoys the grooming. The one bad thing is that he lays in front of the vacuum every time I turn it on now.

Didn’t work

Getting the dogs to set still while you try to comb them can be difficult. It works well other wise

I cannot get the vacuum out with the dog around without him thinking its for him! This brush and hose set seems of good quality has worked very well for us and has solved a dog hair problem!

I really like this item. It's easy to set up and take down. Really works great on my Belgium Malaniod (Jack). Bought Wal-Mart's small dry/ wet vac and works great. Oh and Jack likes it too.
