Hello, The pictured model is the prior 2015-2016 model, however there is a newer model which should be labeled 2017 version with a larger black stripe on the box. Thank you Customer Service

Q: what is the difference between this ball and the 2017 version?

the cover on the ball is different the newer 2017 is an Urethane cover where as the older one is Ionomer. (helps get more spin around greens)

Q: What is best ball for 85 mph swing

My wife plays the Lady Srixon and loves it. IMO a slow swing speed as you describe is best served by a low compression ball that you can compress. Can’t do that with the premium balls. Waste of money

I think there is a newer version even than the 2017 edition. I will say, unless you are an incredible golfer as in par every hole, you will like them. I think it would take a good tour pro to tell the difference. I can't. I've had numerous people wonder how I get so much spin on shots to the green. It's this ball. I've tried just about every premium ball at one time or another. I love my Z Stars. I like the tour yellow, but that's just me.
