The mechanical clutch in this one means that for work involving fasteners, you have the delicate touch you need to not destroy anything. I have been abusing this thing constantly for two years now and it still operates just like that day i bought it. The only other that comes close is its impact version. Usually, I buy them as a pair. But this time I only needed this version in order to attach a small paint mixer to it. Add a remote location.I probably have 15 different drills between my truck and shop. This one is definitely my go to Buddy. It has never failed, except for when I dropped them from very high locations. Then they usually succumb to gravity. I like the way it fits my hand. Does not pinch my finger when pulling the trigger. It’s balanced perfectly. Has just the right amount of power. I am careful not to overheat it. For instance I wouldn’t put a large mixer on it. At least not for very long. It treats me well, I treat it well.
