VastarSnake Hair Drain Clog Remover Cleaning Tool, 19.6 Inch, Orange, 3 Pack

My little Vastar sat in the bathroom cabinet for at least 2 years until today when my bathroom sink clogged up! I had called a plumber about a year ago, forgetting that I had the it, and it cost me a fortune to have it cleared. Lo and behold, this gadget completely cleared the drain. There was just enough of a clog to handle it perfectly!! I will be using it every few months to avoid having to call a plumber ever!!! I only had one left, and have re-ordered a new package! This worked much better than I expected. It's a bit tricky to insert it into the drain but is very effective for removing any hair and crud that is stuck. Like some other reviewers stated, it helps to take a slower approach when inserting and pulling this thing in and out of the drain. You will be surprised at how much stuff this thing grabs. I won't post any pictures because it's rather yucky. But I can tell you the bathtub drains a lot quicker ever since I used this tool to clean out the drain.I only wish this thing was a little bit longer, maybe 24 inches, and slightly narrower to make it easier to navigate smaller drains. But otherwise, it is a good alternative to (mainly useless) Liquid Plumr or Drano.

Die Abflussreiniger sind für meine Abflüsse und Löcher in diesen zu dick und unflexibel. Flötenreiniger haben definitv besser geholfen als diese Rohrkrepierer.

My bath started taking ages to drain so I thought I'd nip it in the bud before it got worse and ordered these. By the time they arrived the situation had become much worse and my tub was full of water, rufusing to drain. The first snake I used did nothing and half of the hooks snapped off. The second one got stuck on something and I tugged it. It snapped and got stuck in the drain. It took a while but I got it out and was dismayed to see that not much came out with it (see picture). I've now used some chemicals and cleared the problem. Wont be buying again and what makes it worse is I've since seen them sold much cheaper in a local shop.
