Review: Love these vitamins! - I love these vitamins, there are just a couple things i don't like, but i wouldn't change that, it would lessen the quality of the vitamins. OK so the size is big! but don't let that scare you, i have a problem swallowing big pills, but these ones have a coating on them that make them go right down. This is how i take them, for anyone having problems taking any pills, i first swallow water alone, to moisten my throat, then i swallow the pill with a large amount of water. it goes down much smoother that way. So, no, I'm not diabetic. I have no horse in this race. My review is based upon what I have observed over the course of my partner's illness. First: There is no vitamin that will miraculously cure diabetes. It is progressive and incurable, for now. Second: Everyone is different, with different metabolisms, different genetics, etc. My partner has been taking Alpha Betic Vitamins for over 12 years. Not being a medical doctor, I can't say that the vitamins affected the progression of her disease. What I can say is that she doesn't get colds or viruses very often. If you've read my other reviews, you know I work at a jail. Needless to say, it is an environment prone to the passage of airborne diseases. Before the vitamins, she would get really ticked off with me because I would come home with a cold and she would catch it. No more. Once she started taking Alpha Betic vitamins, her immune system seemed to grow stronger. It's quite irritating, really. I come home sniffling, head stopped up, nose running, and she just keeps right on going. Sometimes she feels a little bad, but then she's over it. Me, I'm still dealing with cold symptoms.
