I was a little skeptical at first with the price of this sensor a fraction of the cost of one at Home Depot or Lowe’s. Well, it’s exactly what I wanted. It’s the smallest flush mount sensor out there. 2 1/2 hole saw is all thats needed to get it in the ceiling. Wiring is super simple, even after double checking on the inter webs . Took me 30 minutes to complete the install, works perfectly. Yes, sometimes is takes a couple seconds to turn on, but whatever. This is great and easy to setup. Mine only works at night and works all the time.

Can prove difficult for non-electrical personnel, but that is the nature of this device, not product specific. But it is consistent, and works well. Couldn’t stand the defiant one. Never was consistent. Picked up stuff that it shouldn’t have.

We have an attached garage so my wife worries that someone could hide in the small covered area beside the garage by the front door. So I installed one of these and any motion turns the outside light in that area on, so she knows if it activates that something has set the sensor off. she has more peace of mind now. But that could also be from her new .380 Auto!

Used as a motion sensor to control LED lights which are also time controlled via a treatlife dimmable smart switch. This set up controls multiple 6" slim Daylight LED lights mounted in the exterior sofit along a driveway with the PIR at the entry point. The Treatlife dimmable smart switch allows the lights to be set to low intensity on a timer while the PIR sensor wired in parallel provides full brightness whenever motion is present.

Electrician cannot get it to work. Properly wired per instructions. Trying to return.

I didn't expect much for the price, and I wasn't let down. I attached a 14 inch pigtail of 14/3 wire in order to test the unit out before a complete install. I connected it to a simple mushroom ceiling fixture with a CFL bulb. As far as I can tell, the operation is almost completely random. The fixture would come on some times with my motion, and while I was upstairs eating lunch, I could hear it intermittently turning off and on with no motion in the short hallway in which it was installed. A number of times it actually turned off when I came in from the garage door into the hallway where it was installed. Since it was on a flexible pigtail, I positioned the sensor in various manners in case the heat or light of the CFL was affecting. I also tried it with LED and an incandescent bulb, all the while varying the light sensitivity setting. None of this made any difference. Unfortunately I didn't get around to trying it out until after my return window was closed.
