EcoSlurps Reusable Cotton Buds - British Brand - Blue Eco Friendly Silicone Swabs and Qtips for Makeup Application and Cleaning Ears (2, Blue)

Looking at the product description again after buying and receiving this product, I realize it was only made for make-up. The main and primary purpose of q-tips is supposed to be for cleaning ears, but these tips do a terrible job at them. You can use them to just smear around your ear wax for a bit, but it won't stick to the silicone swabs and you'll likely need some good old fashioned eco-unfriendly cotton swabs to do that job for you.

We all know that buds should not be used in ears but we also know that most people who use buds regularly just ignore that advice. The only bud that is good for that purpose is the stippled one, and this works quite well. It's comfortable and gets the job done.Sadly I broke the only one I use. Putting only gentle pressure on and it just snapped in half, I think the material just fatigued because it should not have broken with the way I was using it.Bonus points for the bamboo case as it holds them really well and prevents contamination in either direction. I'm sure I got enough use out of the bud to warrant the larger investment in materials over standard buds but still disappointed that the shaft was not sturdier.

As others have said in the reviews, I can't recommend these for people looking to replace cotton buds for cleaning your ears. The silicone is not sticky or tacky enoiugh to hold onto any skin or wax to remove it, and even the one with the bumps only really is good for catching a hair that's gone inside your ear.Might be good for applying makeup or something like that, but if you're looking for something to replace every use of a cotton bud this isn't it.

Really happy with these, so much so I bought another one for a friend for Christmas! Each cotton bud has a different end, I use mine for tidying my eyeliner and their obvious use too! The bamboo case is very good and stays closed in my bag. The magnets seem to be strong. I love the fact the company plants trees and all the packaging is recyclable - we need more companies like this!

First time using reusable buds and wow! I was surprised how well they work. I like that unlike the cotton disposables when I use them to remove mascara/eyeliner smudges they do not feel scratchy. It's really helpful having them double ended and having different functions. The angled tip is perfect for getting moisturiser out from the sides/corners of the pot. Very good quality the buds and pot seem very well made.

There are other mentions of these for makeup and ears. I use them in my ears, love them, but one stick broke, so I moved the tip to the other, that has broken too. Nice box, if you want to use in your ears, there are others that are more robust.

Awsome product... these reusable cotton buds are a fantastic way to help save the planet and work in the exact same way but better! The case is amazing... such a strong magnet that it would never come apart accidentally in a bag etc. The whole feel is really premium, exceptional quality. They are really easy to clean and I love the different heads, they are great for make-up as well as all the usual uses of a conventional cotton bud.

Anything eco is always worth looking at and these are a must have! Easy to use and clean, very effective and a great magnetic carry case. Brilliant!
