amika Soulfood Nourishing Mask deeply conditions and hydrates hair by delivering nutrients deep into hair’s cortex. The result is long lasting softness, shine, elasticity and manageability. Key Ingredients: Sea buckthorn berry is rich in vitamin C and A, antioxidants and healthy omega fatty acids, including the essential omega-7. Jojoba seed oil fills in cracks on the cuticle surface. Vitamin C reduces the formation of free radicals. Free of MIT/MCI, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, triclocarban, aluminum, talc, sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten, mineral oil, sodium chloride, petrochemicals and artificial colors. Review: Steer clear if you have low porosity hair - I wish brands would specify on their desertcart page if a product was suitable for low or high porosity hair. Its definitely my fault for not checking online first but this is not great for low porosity hair and i should have gone with another one of their products which seems better suited to low porosity hair. Most products are built for medium - high porosity hair and this is what is so misleading/tough for people like myself.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this for all hair types?**
A: No.  I have fine hair, and it weighed it down heavily.  I also needed to shampoo by the next day because it was so greasy.

**Q: Does this contain protein?**
A: I don't think it does, but you might look at the intense Kure Ameika mask it has all the oils and vitamins plus collagen

**Q: What is the difference between the New Edition and the other size that appears identical? Two are listed, same size, both $28.00???**
A: I am pretty sure they just did a rebranding.... I can’t tell any difference between the two!

**Q: Could I leave in for an overnight treatment?**
A: I have left it on my hair for many hours...wrap your hair in a towel or use a shower cap. I’ve not done the overnight treatment yet but it’s pretty mild so I don’t see why not :)

I wish brands would specify on their amazon page if a product was suitable for low or high porosity hair. Its definitely my fault for not checking online first but this is not great for low porosity hair and i should have gone with another one of their products which seems better suited to low porosity hair. Most products are built for medium - high porosity hair and this is what is so misleading/tough for people like myself.
