Oster Compact Countertop Oven With Air Fryer, Stainless Steel

We had a previous model for 15 years or so then just purchased this one. It works well, reliably and am overall satisfied with this product. It is used daily for toasting and occassionally for warming leftovers. Two things I dislike are shown in the photo. First - the handle. It is too deep. It doesn't allow for the front glass door to lay fully flat when opened. This means that when you pull out the rack to remove food, your plate cannot slide under it and be flat. Your plate has to go in on an angle which means you're fighting to get food UP to the plate, rather than slide out easily and drop onto the plate. It annoys me every single day. The last model we had was not like this. Second - the dial. The line for the minutes is on the far-away part of the dial. It was difficult to get the exact 'sweet spot' for toasting. Thankfully, it was easy enough to modify by adding a mark with a sharpie on the dial at the unit so we can see the alignment much better. A very minor inconvenience, but this mark was on the old model. Not sure why these 2 items were changed on newer models. The engineers/designers who make these products should have to use them on the daily for all functions for several months prior to release. The design flaws mentioned would have been avoided.

The pros: compact, good convection, good as a toaster. The cons: while the dials are hardier than the digital style that tends to break, they aren't very exact. If you're OK with somewhere between 8 and 11 minutes and somewhere between 360 and 385, it's fine. I am OK with that. I use it for Amy's frozen dinners and for toast. Pull it away from the wall when using, then push back, as it gets super got. There is a stainless pan on Amazon that fits inside almost perfectly, get it. I am happy with this little oven. UPDATE 4.2.2024 The price is like 50 percent more than I paid for it so I'm not sure it's a value anymore, but it's still working. Looks a bit dingy even after cleaning but everything still works. There are better brands out there for the current price.

Great for 1 or 2 people at the very most.The convection oven cooks evenly. Food comes out fantastic. My first dish was a spinach quiche in my nine inch porcelain dish and it came out great. The timer turns on the power . You need turn the dial past the 20 minute mark then oven starts to heat. Takes a bit getting used to. Can be awkward removing the cooked food, but a little practice and patience will get you through. I wish the dial that sets the temperature had little notches. You need to get eye level and line up the temp to the line on the oven. It's okay though because the food cooks great. I also made homemade biscuits and they came out nice. No light in the oven which is a bummer but for the price and the even cooking, I can do without. If you want all those features, gotta spend more. Haven't used the air fryer but I mainly purchased this for cooking meals. Easy clean up, beats using a full size oven. Heats up quickly but cools down quickly as well. I'm happy with it. Update: warmed up biscuits inches air fryer, came out great. Also, the oven doesn't have a gauge to let you know when it has reached the desired temp. I do some googling to get my answers. Still pleased with this oven.

I just replaced my Oster Toaster Oven and I really liked it - it had a timer problem and got to 5 minutes and got stuck - it had a few years on it - the new Oster Toaster and Air-fryer is set up just like the old one and I really like the looks of it - I went with black this time and it fits in perfect - I have only used it one time but Oster is brand I can trust and don't expect ant problems - thanks

This is a great toaster oven but not really an Air Fryer. I have used a different brand toaster oven for many years and this is as good or better than that but as an Air Fryer, not so much. I'm happy with it because of the low price and it does what I need instead of the big oven for summer. I returned an expensive Air Fryer because it took forever to cool down and blew hot air into the kitchen in the process. It Bakes well and I like the Turbo setting over the Air Fry setting. If you want a true air fryer, this will not fit the bill. But as great toaster oven, works for me! Love the size ~

After just about a year this unit stopped shutting off after the time is up. So no ding and it keeps on going. Huge fire hazard but its great if you like burnt food and have great insurance! Just kidding. Don't buy this unit!

This item looked good in the pictures and had a brand name known to me for better quality. The price point was also reasonable. Sad to say, I was disappointed with my first use. I should have checked for a light inside as being listed in the description. There is none and that makes it hard to see the progress of the cooking. The fact that it is necessary to turn the timing knob to 20 first and then scaling back for shorter time is inconvenient and difficult because the knobs do not turn easily. The oven also gets very hot outside while using and I know this is not necessary because I have another one that does not do this. Finally, the casserole I tried to bake took extra, extra time to bake and did not brown well. So, determine how you want to use this item before ordering as it does not work easliy for all applications.

Lo uso todos los días. Es increíble cómo si deja diferente termino en la comida cuando le pones asar, hornear, tostar o air fryer. Lo amo!!!

Me gustó mucho, es pequeño, perfecto para mí

El producto cumple su función, sin embargo el material es muy delicado pues la repisa que recibe la grasa desde las segunda usada por la misma grasa caliente, se maltrato irreparablemente. Me parece que no es tan potente, sin embargo sólo es cuestión de dejar más tiempo el alimento.

Bien al principio. Buen tamano y funcionalidad,, sin embargo, ya no tiene reparacion despues de 4 anos de uso.

Es un horno pequeño solo sera para cosas personales, no trae mas que 1 rejilla cuando puedo poner 3 para horner algunas charolitas de galletas , si hace su labor como air frayer pero yo necesito algo mas grandesito y completo
