Its an extension pole, not a selfie stick, extension pole, seriously. Selfie sticks have gotten a lot of hate and some of it justified. As an amatuer photographer/videographer it is a supremely handy tool in my kit.I had never heard of this company before and i purchased this simply going off of reviews and features. I sat at home and prayed that I had not purchased an extension that smell like warthog feet or felt like it was made of pasta. It was neither of those things.This is a nice feeling pole. It has a nice heft which add to the whole "not cheaply made" feel. The texture on the shaft is grippy yet comfortable. The end cap is made of metal with a lanyard looped through it. It actually functions wonderfully. It also does not feel like a budget item. The pole extends in the common way of twist - pull - then twist to tighten. The action works well and I didnt have any problem with it getting slack or sliding back in. The tips has a common action cam prongs. I was able to mount my Hero and my Dji Pocket with no difficulties. The sellers ad says that it is waterproof. I cant tell you if it is or not. I have not gotten it wet yet. The length is just enough to get me over the heads of people or low enough to the ground for a follow shot without killing my back, and that satisfies me greatly. I am giving it 5 stars, it is a quality piece of kit for a budget price.Now if you will excuse me, it feels like I need to take a shower or something.

Extends and locks into place easily. Innovative design - allows for you to extend and lock to a variable length without having to extend any of the sections all the way. Works well underwater - took it snorkeling in 20 feet of water. Doesn’t extend very far, but with GoPro having as wide an angle as it does, it’s really all you’d ever want! The thing is cheap but the metallic pieces feel well put together and the wrist strap is thick and feels safe. I second the concerns of others that you cannot fully tighten the screw to fully prevent the housing from turning, but even in choppy water and being pretty violent with it, the thing doesn’t budge unless I really force it to.

Solid so far, but already showing some signs of wear. I have used the stick outside of the water and everything was great. After one dive trip, the rubber grip is showing some signs of wear/degradation. No issue with functionality though. It still telescopes nicely and easily. It is still in fine shape, but I am worried about the long term effects of water use so 4 stars for now. Price for performance can't be beat though. For a sub 15$ telescoping grip, you won't be disappointed here.

This product is amazing - I am new to GoPro family, but familiar with camera equipment. It can get expensive getting accessories, and sometimes overwhelming with a new product thinking you need everything available. This product is amazing for the price point. I spent months researching, comparing products/reviews/prices to try and find the best "bang for my buck". This did not disappoint! It was compact enough that I could fit into my crossbody bag traveling all over Ireland, and it had great functionality. Good grip, stable mount for camera, and easy installation. I highly recommend - you won't be disappointed!

1st off used this with a GoPro Hero 3+. Product was great while I had it! Very sturdy and durable. Was very surprised by how easily you can extend it and it stays locked in with minimal effort. The grip was fantastic as it made it comfortable in your hand and the soft wrist strap kept it tied to me.I got this to use on a trip to Disney and it worked great up until our 2nd day we tried to enter another Disney park and they did not allow it into the park due to it being a "selfie stick". Sadly I was not able to make it back at the end of the day to retrieve it back from the entrance to the park but I was very happy with the product during the time I used it!

The product it self is great, it does what its supposed to, but the one thing i wished for with this product is that it could float! thats it. Other than that, GET IT! you won't regret it

So it looks like very good material but it is small for me. I am a diver and like to be able to reach into small places. I also prefer the choice of adjusting the end especially if I want to take an underwater selfie with my dive friends. So I think it is well made but certainly doesn't meet what I want for a dive camera stick. Also, in order to return it I need to pay $5.99 for shipping. Its a bit much especially because they will just resale it since it was never used. Unless you are positive that this is the length you are comfortable with, don't buy it. I used another one that extends to 27" and worked well. I bought the same one for my husband. I guess it would be cheaper for me to just buy that one again instead of paying for the return shipping of this one.

UPDATE: After leaving this review, the seller contacted me about my issue. They said this was extremely rare and would replace my unit. Their customer service was extremely quick and as soon as I sent them my shipping address, sent me a brand new stick free of charge.Bottom line: This stick is high quality, and if you ever run into an issue, their service is top notch. I highly recommend this product and this seller. I left my original review below for reference.Original:Just got home from a weekend in Jackson Hole and this stick is awesome. High quality and it's compact size is perfect to store in my vest while snowboarding and not in use. Unfortunately, one of the extension sections seems to have broken because it can slide right off the end of the selfie stick. Would certainly give this 5 stars for quality and ease of use, but after one weekend out and having a broken section makes me nervous to use it again. Finding a $400 GoPro in 10" of snow doesn't sound possible or fun.I couldn't find any sort of warranty link or way to contact the seller, so hopefully leaving this review will help me to get it sorted. Seems like it could just be a defective piece, because overall this selfie stick feels high quality. Thanks.
