Used it to help glue up a custom built set of 80 inch tall doors.Although the pipe is made of steel, there's an expected bit of flex going on when the length of pipe used is long. The work around is to clamp once on one side of the peice and another clamp near it on the other side to even out the deflections. BTW - all other types of clamps will flex when the clamping length is long.When you add the cost of the required black pipe required for my project, this could be considered a costly purchase.
