My kiddo is 11 months old and she LOVES books. We have a bookcase full of board books and 5 indestructible books and she loves this series best. The pages are flexible and thin without ripping and are great for chewing, crumpling, mangling, everything a baby does. There aren't a ton of words or much of a story, which is great!! We can make up our own stories and it's different every time we read it. She loves the bright colors and the texture of the pages. I love that we can point out different things (colors, items brought to the beach, items already at the beach, foods, etc) so my kiddo is being exposed to lots of words since we're not trying to follow any story.

These books can stand up to anything your baby or toddler dishes out. The artwork is cute and babies love them. My 8 month old grandson had me read one called Baby Babble repeatedly for over an hour. I wanted to scream, I mean come on the plot is not for adults, but he was having a blast. I get these books for all new babies that are born in the family. Their parents also love them. They stand up to chewing, they never tear, they are truly indestructible. I cannot recommend enough.

First of all, I like the inclusion of 3-4 different shades of skin colors and two genders illustrated throughout the book. There is a peach skin shade shown, a tan skin shade shown, and a brown skin shade shown. This is a nonfiction book about going to the beach. I like that the pictures are labeled with vocabulary words for beach items. The book is waterproof. The pages feel like a rice-paper-plastic-thin material. There are 10 pages to this book. Since the book is waterproof it’ll be fun for me to take with us on our beach trip this summer. The book is super thin and is easy to fit into any small bag! I ordered some others that will be great to keep in the diaper bag.

I LOVE the indestructibles line of baby books because my babies have loved them. They are one of my favorite baby items to give as gifts. They truly have been indestructible in my experience. Our first few lasted through baby boy number 1 and then 3 years later are holding up well to baby boy #2. We added more to our collection with our second child. They get abused and yet have no tears and have stayed in great shape. They wash up so easily too. That is my favorite part. I love the bright illustrations. We make up stories to go along with pictures which is fun for my older son to do for his little brother. It contributes to both of their creative development. Truly a great product.

This book really is mostly indestructible. As long as you don;t mind a book that gets all crinkled from use. My grandson has chewed on drooled on and bent crumpled and more. The pages have not faded nor has the book ripped or come apart and it looks like it has been through a toddler tornado.

I really like the idea behind these Indestructibles books...books that can withstand just about anything a baby/toddler can throw at them. This is one of the better ones in my opinion. I like that there are words on each page and lots of things to look at and point out to baby. I also like that these books are so small...they are easy to put in the diaper bag and take along anywhere. I just wish that they made some of these books with MORE of a story. As I said...this is one of the better ones about a day at the beach...but there still isn't much of a real story. They even have a nursery rhyme series...but there are NO words in those books. If they ever make a series of books that are actual story books...I will buy them all. As it is...we have this one, peek a boo baby, and a baby words book (can't remember the title but it's actually our favorite)...and those are the only books in this series my daughter likes at all...but they don't hold her attention more than a minute or two while board books can keep her busy for MUCH longer. We have one of the animal books with flying animals...and my daughter won't even look at that one. Oh well...a really great concept and they really are indestructible.

Our daughter loves this book. It’s genuinely chew-proof and rip-proof, which is perfect for little ones who put everything in their mouths. We also love that we can just wipe it down to clean it, and it even works in the bath. Highly recommend for durability and versatility.

Wonderful pictures.. simple words ..babies are attracted to thus book. My lo loves looking at pictures again n again. He tried to eat it also... Good to have in baby library
