Melissa & Doug Wooden Stools - Set of 2 (Natural)

Love these stools. I use one for my children in the bathroom and the other makes a great seat for our IKEA children's table. They were very easy to assemble and are very sturdy. I love the clean simple look, especially for the price and the quality is good.

These stools were quite easy to assemble. They claim to be stackable, which is true. The one thing I noticed is that when the stools are stacked, there is a gap between the tops. If you put too much pressure on them while stacked, the stools could possible break.As with any name brand item, you do pay a little more than what the stools are probably worth. The quality is good, but you can find just as good of quality for less. You will need to determine whether this is a good value for you.

These chairs are lovely and well made. They matched perfect with our Melissa&Ddoug activity table! The natural wood color is a beautiful lighter colored wood- very smooth edges with no sharp edges. These are sturdy and high quality just like most all of products this company makes. The stools sit about 11 inches high- my 22 month old is very petite at 50%tile or less so be he still has a few months before his feet touch. We love that these are stackable if need be- there is also a slit in the top or the wood for easy carrying. These have some weight to them which is nice because my toddler can’t easily move them around the house yet.Definitely recommend- much nicer than some cheap plastic chairs! These will last a lifetime if cared for properly.

These Melissa and Doug stackable stools are outstanding. I love, love, love, the quality and functionality of these stools. They are versatile enough to be used as both seating and as stepstools so that little ones can independently reach sinks. They stack perfectly on top of each other so they are easy to put away when not in use. The wood is solid and the natural finish highlights the wood grain beautifully. Assembly is straightforward and the screws are recessed so little ones cannot get scratched by them. At the time of this review the retail price for 2 stools was around $60 which is reasonable for the quality but I might suggest getting the set of 4 since they may be less per stool. I give these stools my highest recommendation.

Anyone with young kids knows how useful stools are for so many things! These are no exception. They are pretty pleasing to look at (though I would have preferred white), easy to assemble and they stack. They are also a bit higher than many other stools which is really great for my toddler. My only complaint is that the packaging they came in was insane. It was way over the top and included lots of styrofoam. Total mess. But that was really the only downside. I assembled them on my own very fast with a Phillips screwdriver. Just be sure you make sure to put the recessed side on the outside...

These are great stools. I keep one in the kitchen for me so I can reach the top shelves of our ceiling height cabinets, and one upstairs in the bathroom so my toddler can reach the sink. Assembly was easy, they're sturdy and I love the built in handle on the top of them, makes it much easier to grab and move them where you need

Like that they stack for storage with a one hand pickup. Both slide nicely under the matching table for storage. Real wood product that will last long time
