I used it to die down my Harley Road King on the ferry between Ludington and Manitowoc. No worries! I was very impressed with how it showed up the day after I ordered it, as promised.

Nice packaging and made in USA, right next door, in Anaheim, CA. The straps are soft and feels solid. The ratcheting system works smoothly, but the release orange handle feels a little thin, compared to other straps that i have. Straps are 1.5 inches wide and 6ft long. I want them this short to tie down my Honda Grom on my truck hitch carrier, so i have less straps flapping around. In the box are 2 ratcheting straps with locking hooks, 2 soft loop straps to tie down on the bars and a storage bag (not shown in the pics) Now, if you care, the ratcheting had a few scratches and the rubber handle part, has some tiny extra rubber at the end. Not a big deal. I haven’t used them yet, so can’t comment on the strength of it yet, but it’s rated to 1000 lb of working load limit per strap. Good enough for my 234lbs Grom and I won’t be lifting the bike with them, anyways. It’s just to hold the bike in place. Thanks powertye

I normally just don't have time to write reviews, but when I get something this good, I couldn't resist. I looked at a broad spectrum of straps before I bought these. The thickness and width of the webbing is clearly indicative of the rated load. The locking stitching is a key factor to look for as the weakest link in the load path and is extensive on these straps. The hooks are fabricated from 7/16" rod stock (after you subtract out the vinyl coating); very substantial. A safety mouse on every hook (not a common addition), an absolute must in lifting and handling safety. The ratchets are substantial with Cadillac grips that are very comfortable to operate. The length is perfect for their targeted function, more is not always better. The pair of looped straps are a handy inclusion for many ratchet strap applications . And a heavy, draw-string nylon tote; you can't beat this deal for this money. Worth every penny.

These straps are awesome. I spent 22 years active duty military and the military always buys Made In USA products. Saying that, I have spent most of my adult life seeing the quality of products made by Americans. These straps are no exception. I always try to buy Made In USA products and was happy to find these. You will not be disappointed with the quality of materials or customer service. They are solid, function smoothly, come with a lifetime warranty, and their customer service was perfect. Contacted them about a small seam tear on the storage bag and no questions asked, I am getting a new one. Very friendly and he fell on his sword apologizing. I have bought other brands that tout USA, but usually find out they mislead you with China products either assembled or just sold in the USA. You get what you pay for and I will buy Powertye from now on.

I shopped around for the best quality product. Regardless of the price. These are very nice, very affordable and have top quality workmanship.I found some that were lesser quality but more money. I have bought 100s of ratchet straps over the past 50 years, None of them come close to the quality of these US made straps. The strap thickness is nearly double that of the Chinese ones, The hooks are the size of straps which claim twice the weight rating. Will be buying several more in the bear future. I wouldn’t trust any other strap on my $25K UTV
