Good against animal chewing?

It depends on how tenacious the animal is but I would give that a no. After some time I imagine they’ll eventually get through it. I recommend something specifically designed to prevent that and or you can use a spray that’s very bitter to most animals to keep them away

Suitable for led light bar wiring on a john deere gator?

This is what I would call “medium duty” sleeving. In my opinion, yes - it would be suitable for any location not in direct contact with sharp corners or metal edges that would rub hard over time. The relatively open-weave typically cleans out well with washing so that any dirt buildup can be cleaned. I usually melt the cut end with a match in order to keep it from unraveling, and add a nylon zip-tie to the ends and every so often along the length. It is a good product, easy to use. Makes a good-looking harness when done.
