Fit: true Comfort: 70 yr old feet find them extremely comfortable for hiking Lightweight, yet great support I normally get wide, but these are a great width, not to loose on the heel and plenty on room in the toebox.

I was skeptical, buying such important footwear without trying. I couldn’t be happier! They seem to be incredibly durable. I have hiked in Sedona and upstate New York in them and felt safe and secure in my foot placement. I felt at first that the sole was too inflexible, but now find that it provides stability and the tread works great on sand, small rock, rock faces, and leaves. Plenty of room in the toe box.

I was so happy with these shoes! Got them for trekking and the mountains of Peru and also in the Amazon lowlands and they were great for both. After my trip, I cleaned them up and they still look new! I expect to have these shoes for years to come. Super high-quality construction, very satisfied with my purchase.

Lightweight yet supportive. Perfect for hiking in uneven terrain. I wore them all through Joshua Tree and surrounding areas.

If you know your European, specifically Italian sizing look for that instead of the US number. I started out with US 8, which it turns out is IT 39.5 and at least a full size too big for me. US 7.5 which is IT 38.5 is perfect. Love the grippy soles and running shoe looks.

I haven't tried these out on the trails yet but they have great support in them, are firm without hurting any parts of my foot, and look good enough to be worn as a regular tennis shoe off trail. They were a little stiff from the get-go but are starting to loosen up and I know they will be top notch for hiking. Good solid shoe and incredibly lightweight which is a plus – – even in a size 11!

Incredibly disappointed. I have a lot of backcountry colleagues and friends that have sworn by their La Sportiva gear. Some of these colleagues have had their equipment for nearly a decade and swore by the quality of craftsmanship of which Iʻve been with them as they put miles and miles on their boots. Unfortunately this shoe is NOT one of those quality products for La Sportiva is known for. I confidently bought the shoe knowing this reputation for my wife as a gift to get her out hiking with me in better gear. Unfortunately with only 40 total miles of light hiking the rubber outsoles are tearing away, not delaminating but literally disintegrating. With the method of degradation, there is no option to repair the shoe with confidence in its durability.
