Easy to install
I'm new to wheelchair world, so was flummoxed at the instructions to remove/replace a screw that was in a tight and awkward place under the wheelchair armrest. Then a kind soul showed me that the armrest itself was easily removable, which made changing the screw a snap. Maybe I'm the only idiot who didn't know that, but am sharing in case I have kindred spirits out there new to the wheelchair world, as well! Note: I do wish the seatbelt were a few inches longer. My husband is of "normal" size and fishing the seatbelt out of the side rails is just slightly annoying. Another couple of inches would have allowed it to drape over the side while transferring him to and from the chair.

Very safe, strong replacement
This was a great replacement belt. The original belt on the chair I have was a cheaply made plastic clip in type of lock. So it didnโt take long for it to just break off. This one is so much better. The lock is metal, the belt itself is a wide, durable webbing material that you can adjust easily. Attaching to our chair was simple with a screwdriver. Feel much more comfortable having our family member strapped in with this belt.

Include instructions and it's five stars.
Keeping mom safe and secure in here wheelchair was a concern for me. This belt was very helpful in making that so. It was fairly easy to install once I downloaded the instructions from the website. It would really have been nice if the instructions were in the box. It would have been five stars if I didn't have to do the extra searching for instructions. I never did this before and had no idea where to mount it.

Webbing is not suitable for seat belt use.
The buckle is better than the one that came on the wheelchair, that he couldn't squeeze hard enough to operate. But in less than two months of use, the nylon webbing shredded. This is not a safe product.

Good safety belt
This is a good seat belt for our wheelchair. It's easy to install. These usually don't come with instructions, so I was surprised this one did. There are screws on the back of the wheelchair, which can be loosened. The screw then is inserted into the hold on the end of the belt and then the screw is tightened back onto the wheelchair. Caution still needs to be used when someone is in a wheelchair and we still need to be aware of their position, but this belt does help to keep them more secure. This belt opens and closes like the seat belts in our car. A simple push of the red button releases the belt. The belt is easily adjusted (one side adjusts, the other does not). I'm posting a few photos to show the installation of the belt. In one of the photos, you might notice a cushion on the side of the chair. I know it might look strange... we are using the cushion, which we had originally purchase for her to sit on, to help support my mom on that side. No matter how well she is positioned in the chair, she tends to lean to that side. If the cushion is not there, she leans WAY over the side. It's not a perfect solution, but seems to be working ok for us.

buckle not solid
not a solid piece of equipment. the webbing is thin and the metal bracket keeps falling apart, but for the the cheap price point our expectations were not that high
