i thought i'd never run short of power outlets in our one vehicle but i was wrong. after picking up the echo auto overChristmas i needed an extra outlet and didn't want to run a cable from the back seats to the front. so i thought i try this to split power for the echo auto and the car's dash cam using one of the front seat outlets.i just plugged it in and everything worked then and there! no problems or quality control defects whatsoever. i have been using this now for over three months without so much as a hiccup.

Whatever you plug in will not stay plugged in. It will fall out. It does not mimic the car's outlet. Basically, this product technically works if you hold your item in the socket, but the second you let go it will fall out. It is very flimsy and does not do the one job it is meant to do.

Power kept cutting out shutting down whatever I had plugged in roughly every 45-60sec so for my purposes, USELESS

Good. Works as advertised. If you overload it it just shuts off, unplug and replug without load and it turns back on. The 800 ma is roughly accurate as far as I can tell.

It works fine with no issues. One suggestion is if they can add a small On and Off switch along the cable and it would be perfect.
