How I Use This Cramp Bark Tincture & Why I Chose Sun God Medicinals
I take Sun God Medicinals' cramp bark tincture to mitigate menstrual cramps and support hormonal balance. Like most tinctures, this also tastes bitter. It does, however, have a slightly sweet scent. I mix one dropperful with water, tea or water-down fruit juice. See images. At the time of purchase, Sun God Medicinal's was the most affordable tincture (I could find) for organic, alcohol-based cramp bark, unblended with any other herb. Alcohol is better than glycerin at extracting the medicinal properties out of the woody parts of plants. As of this review, the company is on the USDA organic integrity database under its new name: Sun Breeze Inc.
