AxiomMarket Basket, Rear Racktop Basket

Well I am happy that I got this specific basket for my bike, it is sturdy and very inviting. But there was a tiny little complain I would make here. The hardware was not the best I have ever seen, and without applying unreasonable amount of forces, the inside of all screws were destroyed and cannot be turned again. Since I am not planning to take the basket off anytime soon, I am not worrying about that right now. So I highly recommend you guys get your own screws from local shop. It can be tricky to install by yourself, so ideally you should have someone to hold it on the place while you work on hardware under it.

I installed this basket on my bike 2 years ago and I've used it so many times since! I love this basket. It's big enough to put plenty of stuff. I just bought a new bike and will buy the same basket for this bike as well.

Nice and sturdy and the size is excellent. Fit my whole backpack flat.The mounting system isn't the best, but I think most of the issues behind that are due to the lack of instructions. Pretty sure there's a comment above talking about how to do it properly; I was too lazy to read over it and just played around with the pieces until I figured something out. Regret. It wasn't very easy and it's not quite stable but at least she's holding.

The red reflector was easy to remove. It almost fell off in my hand. Glad for that. This is a good looking, sturdy, and easy to install shopping basket. I think my dog will like it once I add a bit of padding.

This may be obvious - but I'm not a biker and didn't know that you must already have a mounting rack installed on your bike to attach this wire basket. I was buying the basket for my son's bike. Which did not have a rack yet. I thought the basket would clip onto the bike somehow. So I went to the local bike shop to see if they had mounting racks for the back of the bike. Long story short - no mounting racks at our local bike shop were compatible with my pre-teen's bike due to its smaller size. SoI had to return this basket. It seems like a sturdy, nice basket. But per all the other reviews, there are no instructions to install it. So it was a waste of time for me. Also, at the bike shop, they were commenting that the screws were the wrong size (which I had also read in other reviews).

very practical - fits a cooler for a ride to the beach. my old basket was natural so it dried out and broke. I think this one will last a lot longer

So, it didn’t come with instructions but a review by another person helped a great deal, thank you. It was easy once you get it and was completed in less than 15 minutes. The basket is sturdy and it’s large enough for my use but I could see why some others would say it can be bigger. I am very happy with my purchase and I would recommend it. Tools you would need are Allen key and pliers.

Well made rack. Love how big it is. I was able to fit a small ice chest and my backpack! Very sturdy. Easy to install after I read the instructions from another purchaser. No instructions came with the rack. I would have rated the install higher if instructions for the clamps would have been including. With that being said, I love this rack and will order another for my other bike.

Una canasta grande , sólida y estética. Tardó mucho en llegar y el precio quizás un tanto alto. Por lo demás la recomiendo.

Basket itself is an excellent quality basket but the mounting parts are absolutely ridiculous. No instructions and badly designed. Rear light attachment slot needs a better design as well. Would have totally given 5 stars if the entire thing is well thought out. So I'm giving 3 stars.
