RooCoat Babywearing Coat - Charcoal with Gray Stripes - Large

Great quality jacket. It's light yet warm and snugly. I normally wear a medium in unisex sized clothing but I ordered a large because I wanted extra wiggle room for when I use a long woven wrap in various carries. It shrunk a little but it made it fit perfectly. I love this jacket so much I can't wait to buy another one.

I got this coat to use with my toddler when in a carrier like the Ergo. We had purchased a cover in the past that simply attached to and covered the baby in the carrier. This worked well when he was littler, younger, and not as likely to kick his legs around. Now that he's bigger and tries to interact with the world while in the carrier, that model is harder to use for both him and I. We spend a lot of time tucking legs in, only to have them come right out. The RooCoat solves this problem in that the cover goes over both baby and wearer, keeping everything tucked in and cozy.The fabric for this coat is cotton- soft, thick, and very warm. I wouldn't generally reach for a sweatshirt in colder Midwest weather, but the thickness of this and the fact that you have a warm blooded child on you, have made it totally sufficient in wind whipping colder weather. That was a pleasant surprise.I had a bit of a hard time zipping myself up with baby in the coat, but as I've worn this, that part has become easier. I found the hood for the wearer a bit too shallow to stay on my head when we were all zipped up, but the hood for the child worked really well.The fit for both my husband and I, both generally larges in men and women's clothes respectively, was spot on. I love that the unisex sizing means we can both wear this.The stripes are a nice touch and make this a very fun baby wearing accessory to pick up. We've received many inquiries and comments while wearing it. We are very happy with this coat and will get a lot of use out of it with our current child, as well as in the future.

This coat is great quality, I couldn't believe how nice & warm it was!! I love that there are pockets on both sides. I got a large (usually a medium but like Ciara bigger plus my son is 2 not an infant). We were both kept toasty warm on a chilly, windy day. I have bought something similar before, but it was a vest with no pockets, no hood & could only be worn wearing child up front. Now that my child is two he prefers to be carried on my back so this is much warmer & much more convienent. If you are a baby wearing mama or daddy (completely neutral for both sexes) this is the coat for you!

It does have a pocket for baby to sit in i took it to tailor to make one disappointed because it has a hood but you would have to hold baby.

This is everything I hoped for and more! I am soooo pleased with my purchase the quality is fantastic. It is so warm and thick. Definetly worth the money.
