Wasabi Power AC Adapter for Canon CA-570 Replacement AC Adapter for Canon FS300, HF10, HF11, HF20, HF100, HF200, HF M31, HF S10, HF S100, HG20, HG21, HG30, HR10, HV10, HV20, HV30, HV40, XA10, ZR80, ZR85, ZR90, ZR100, ZR200, ZR300, ZR400, ZR500, ZR600, ZR700

Compatible with my camcorder, construction seems normal - does what I needed it to do, no complaints.

Supplies power - light is red, it's charging. Decent price, works as expected.

My OEM power supply grew legs and walked. Needed a new one and found this. It works, however, you will want to get another A/C cord to plug into the back of it. The one that comes with this unit is REALLY SHORT. I swapped out the stock a/c for a longer one so that it could reach the power strip. It's fine for the money...I don't know if CANON even still MAKES the OEM unit, as the HV40 is no longer manufactured. At least I don't THINK it's still manufactured. But I still dig the camera, even if it is tape. Perhaps if my music project makes a huge splash upon completion, I may get one of the nifty new cameras using SDXC. Still, the HV40 still rocks if you know how to use it. But for those other HV40 users who have also had their power supply units grow legs and walk, this will help you out. Wasabi Power AC Adapter for Canon, works as expected.

Worked perfectly. Kept the camera fully powered while it was in use for over 8 hours.

Absolutely worked and I was happy. My camcorder is old and I wasn't sure I'd be able to use it to save video from the tapes I had.

Only 3 stars because when plugging the unit into the wall there is always a spark. I'll continue to use it, but I plug in to the wall before plugging into my camera. I would buy this again and recommend it to friends. Just use it with care.

We had pulled out our camera and realized we didn't know where the charger was. After failing with a "one charger with multiple adapters", I went searching for a new one. I found this on Amazon and quickly ordered. It not only worked perfectly, but it also came very quickly with good packaging. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I was looking for a charger for my Cannon camcoder. This works perfect.
