Never Let A Unicorn Meet A Reindeer!

I normally don’t purchase books online if I can’t read what’s inside first. I read a lot of reviews that seemed good so I bought it based on those. After getting it and reading it, it was definitely not a good purchase. The story wasn’t that great and it was a little all over the place. The ending was pointless. Pretty upset that it was a waste. We own a lot of books for kids and this one was just not worth it.

Received the book really bent and damaged. The package was fine- the book inside was messed up. For what it is- it’s expensive being over 10$ and to have it this bent up is disappointing. This is meant for a gift.

Our family gives "books for babies" at Christmas. The youngest kids all get books, and it's really fun to find story books that they might love. One of the nieces loves unicorns, and this book looked cute. (only the first few pages were available to preview.)The book arrived today, and when I read to the end, it turned out to be disappointingly boring AND confusing. I'd swear the story was missing several important pages that would have pulled it together. As such, it's going back to Amazon and I'll search for a better book to give to my nieces this Christmas.

My girls like a lot of Diane Alber books and have always loved the unicorn ones, so this seemed like the perfect addition. However, the plot line of this book makes no sense and even my 5 year olds were confused. The whole point of the book is to not let them met and yet they do in the first page, and then nothing remarkable happens. The illustrations are cute, but ultimately, this is one of the worst children’s books I’ve ever purchased. I swear it’s like someone else took her illustrations and added bad copy.

Have a child or grandchild? This is the perfect book to get them reading. In fact if they like laugh out loud and unicorns this whole series is a must have for most young readers. My 9 yr old struggles with reading being dyslexic but she memorized all of the other books on the series so I gave her this one. She read it to ME! First one she was able to read to me not me to her. Proud ! She said everyone should own the unicorn series and please to tell the other readers to never paint any unicorns just ask them nicely to read with you.
