SkinMedica Scar Recovery Gel, 2 Oz

I ordered this as a replacement for the exact product that was provided to me by my surgeon’s office to use after Tummy Tuck. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The gel is the exactly the same as I was expecting. If this wasn’t the best scar gel available, he would inssist to start use 1 week post-op. I was told to use twice a day for 12 weeks. My scar looks great and I am only 4 weeks in. I will order another tube when needed.

Excellent. Works well on surgical scars

I've tried other less expensive scar creams which did not work at all. While SkinMedica can be a little pricey, it worked extremely well for me. Watch for price changes and if you anticipate surgery well enough in advance, jump at the lower price and buy.

I had a surgery at the beginning of March 2021. It left me with two giant scars on my chest. I've been using this daily (well, I've missed a few days here and there) and noticed my scars are fading quite significantly. It is not an overnight fix though. You really have to be consistent and massage the gel into the scars. Take 5 minutes each side. In just under a year, my scars appear less red. I'm excited to see what another year will do. It is pricey and not every body type heals the same, but I've found it works very well for me.

It's supposed to be brown! My surgeon provided the first bottle of this. I was happy to snag another bottle when the price dropped. Other reviews commented with concern over the color being a bit brown. Dont freak out, it's supposed to be brown
