A: It turns front to back or left to right, no tilting

**Q: Can you go from portrait orientation to landscape orientation without taking the thing apart??**
A: Yes it turns quite easily.

**Q: Does the stand need to be screwed into the counter or table top?**
A: No it does not need to be screwed down.  this would just increase the security of the stand .   We move ours around quite a bit so that is why we did not screw it down

**Q: Is this compatible for iPad gen 6?**
