Very nice phone! More than anyone needs. The camera is very good! You will be very happy w that. I got the refurbished - excellent condition. And it is quite excellent. Only a few scratches in the charging port (see pics) and bit of grime/debris by the rear cameras. Maybe Amzn doesn't clean them before sale. Maybe I just got the only one that wasn't, who knows. No biggie. Cleaned it myself. This is a very nice and simple phone, from the name A71 to the robust capabilities. Just the sheer fact that you're considering this phone means that you or the person you're buying this for does not need a $1300 flagship phone nor are you/they the type of person to spend ludicrous money on excess items like this. Nowadays people want their phone to float in the air while taking pictures, drive them to work and water their flowers. Even though they dont have flowers.... get me? They want excess when they don't have anything that demands those capabilities. You dont need a $600, 800, or 1000 phone just to scroll through tiktok for 5hrs a day ot whatever other degenerate activities people do now. This is a phone for real people. For modest people that live in the real world. It will do more than you need. The processor is very quick and robust. To give you context. I just moved to a new city so I'm always using the maps app, along with music, texting people that I'm on my way, etc. I can do all these three things so easily and quickly. The phone jumps from one app to the other very quick. The screen quality is very clear and vibrant, very strong colors. You will enjoy taking pictures on this. The first few photos I posted, people asked me if I got an iPhone (as if that were the standard of camera quality). The keyboard has very VERY good predictive texting and suggestions, along with very good conjugations in multiple languages. I would often type 20-40% of a word before it knew what I whated to say and which likely words come after. And if you speak/text in multiple languages, you don't need to switch from one language or keyboard to another. The keyboard is consistently keeping track of all possible words in all the languages you selected in the settings. And if you haven't noticed already, it has really good punctuation. AI assistant is very helpful and quick. It'll do a lot before you have to touch the screen.

Although this phone is an unlocked AT&T phone, I had trouble setting it up to be used as a T-Mobile phone, so I contacted the vendor. NOTE: Be sure to BACKUP everything from your old phone using the Samsung Cloud backup first!! SET UP: When the phone asked for the insertion of the SIM card, the vendor wrote to me to skip that step (since I had a T-Mobile SIM), and follow the remaining steps to finish with set up. Once I did that, it worked perfectly. The vendor also instructed me to register this new phone with T-Mobile which I have done. The phone is working perfectly. The phone arrived in two days, although the instructions said it would come in 8 days! The phone is beautiful and looks like a brand new phone! Also in the box were: a 39" charging/data cable, a Samsung super fast charger, and a SIM removal tool as indicated in the description. The screen is pristine. The photo shows the plastic protective covering on it which will remain on until the new case arrives. The only teeny annoyance is that the AT&T logo appears (instead of T-Mobile) when the phone starts, but I'm getting used to it. I am super happy with this phone and with this vendor.

I loved the A51, figured an upgrade to the A71-5G would be a no- brainer. I am disappointed in the battery. If used for a few games or videos, phone needs to be charged partway through the day. Screen is good, thumbprint ID works through the screen protector. The phone speakers are awful, just like the A51. The inner speaker via headphones, earbuds, etc, is fine. At least that volume actually increases to something that borders on too loud. I don't understand why they kept the screen brightness on the second page of the drop-down menu. The Bluetooth works great.

I've bought this phone from this seller twice in a row now after returning, thinking I just got unlucky the first time. The first came with a defective sim tray. After a long day at At&t, it was clear after trying with multiple sim cards, an in-person tech and a tech on a phone simultaneously, that the sim card tray was misaligned. We tried multiple times and with each card, the tray scratched them like crazy and the phone couldn't recognize the sim. This phone was supposedly compatible with AT&T, after waiting a few days longer for a replacement, the replacement was not unlocked and cannot be activated on AT&T, although it is advertised as unlocked at AT&T compatible. It's locked to Verizon. My guess is this seller is just going under right now and all a mess. Do not buy from them. It's been an incredibly drawn out nightmare for me.

Jury is still out. It's a 50/50 split. Could've been better. Should've waited for brand new model. Not bad usage though.

Recieved phone and would not read Sims card

I needed a new phone because my old phone's speaker crapped out on me. It was a A71 as well but was the 4G version so I upgraded to the 5G. Not bad for under $200. The only thing I would caution is get a Samsung branded charger. The one that came with the phone was not and it said "adaptive fast charging". At 30% my phone would be fully charged in 1.5 hours, then seconds later it be fully charged in 2.5 hours. Other then that, we'll worth it.

This is a LIKE NEW AT&T Unlocked Phone that has Android 11 and 3.0 UI and January 1, 2021 Security Patch. I discovered this RENEWED A71 5G on Amazon and the price was reasonable, so I purchased it. This is the BEST phone I've ever used. It looks BRAND NEW. Here are the Pros and Cons: Pros: 1. 5G works great. I have AT&T as my phone service and have a 5G Plan. I just popped my SIM Card and it worked great. 2. The phone just updated on February 10, 2021 to Android 11, UI 3.0. 3. This is a very fast phone on WiFi Internet or on 5G Data. It never lags and it stays cool. 4. Battery life is excellent as it goes all day and still has 40 percent left with heavy use. 5. Screen Quality, Size of Device. The screen is vivid and super clear. The size is PERFECT for my small hands. 6. It has some AT&T Apps on it, but just a few. Not alot of bloatware. 7. Best buy in my opinion because this phone looks and performs much like a Flagship phone, and costs much less. Cons: I didn't find any cons Highly recommended.
