Best choice by far
I started a project a few weeks ago to create my own UV box to sterilize my dental loupes, watch, mask, and other items. All the pre-made ones I found were either expensive, poorly made, or both. You can find small UVC bulbs for very cheap, and they could effectively do this job very well (leds also exist, but are exceedingly pricey and usually low output) . The sticking point is successfully driving these bulbs. The majority are low pressure mercury arc bulbs (which I believe these are, as well), and these are extremely different than a standard halogen or incandescent bulb, despite appearances. After spending way too much time experimenting with these bulbs and attempting to wire my own solution (breadboards with resistors, buck converters, microcontroller, the whole shebang) it became very appearant that this could not be a viable solution for anyone who isn't an extremely proficient electrician with plenty of time on their hands. Scrolling through Amazon, I finally found these. They're excellent. These have the most thorough documentation I've seen yet, installation is as straightforward as it gets, and performance seems to be great for my application. The $35 price would've been a turnoff for me a couple of weeks ago, but after all my time tinkering and searching for parts, this is an absolute steal. This seller did all that tedious work for you so you can apply them however you want. Thanks for making these! I'm glad I discovered them, they've been a lifesaver.

Effective against bacteria
We have ordered four sets of these lights to use in lab experiments dealing with sterilization of different objects. The effectiveness against bacteria was quite good. The lights appear to work well with a 12V DC source. For prolonged use, you should clean the lights with rubbing alcohol if they’ve been touched (oil from hands/fingers might not be good for long term reliability).
