The set looks fabulous and it is holding up very well. The chairs are comfortable (once I bought cushions for the back of the chairs). One small issue - the assembly instructions are just awful. The pictures show how to orient the two main rails at the very beginning, yet when you get to the very end, you discover that the pictures showed the rails upside down and the screw holes are in the wrong places (i.e., on the wrong side). I had to disassemble the whole thing, drill new holes in the correct places, and reassemble. Other than that, assemble was quite easy - as long as you don't use the janky tools they provide.

Great set. Was just sitting out on it last night with wife and daughter and her friend. They all were commenting on how comfortable and great looking it is. Nicely designed angles for wooden furniture. I'd feared the slats across the back might be uncomfortable, but the curve and closeness of the slats lets you lean against it without hitting an edge. Cushions are actually outdoor fabric and nicely made. I was afraid they might be light duty add-ons, but the firmness is good. And the look is really classy. Lots of positive unprompted comments. Assembly went fine once I got the hang of it. A couple of tricks that were helpful: 1. Don't tighten down bolts immediately. Get all of them started before running them all the way in. Not sure where I read in comments that some people had issues getting holes and bolts to align. I found that starting them (or backing them out a bit when needed) allowed all of them to bite and then they pulled themselves into proper alignment. Everything fit. 2. Some of the screws have a 'nut' or seat that slips into a pre-drilled hole. One such hole was a little large (probably hit a knot in the wood) and initially wasn't going to easily be placed. I found that inserting a small bit of thin cardboard before inserting the 'nut' held it in place and allowed for a firm and permanent connection. On some of the other listings for this furniture it sounded like people had similar problems and got frustrated by it. 3. Initially I teak oiled all of the pieces before assembling. Later I only oiled the area of the parts that came into contact, then did assembly, then did full teak oiling. This was much faster and easier. 4. Walker Edison did a great job supporting the furniture. I had one side piece with broken slats in the box, and I went to their website, filled out the form with a couple of digital pics, and got shipping confirmation of the replacement piece within hours. Really pleasant and effectively done. I ordered this conversation set AND the dining table set at the same time. Got 1 extra piece instead of the correct piece for the other set. Again, Walker Edison support took the info with a digital pic and immediately shipped the correct piece with no return required. VERY nicely done. 5. The one question I have (writing as October gets colder here) is how long the teak oil treatment will last. Wondering if a more permanent outdoor wood treatment may be what I go to next year.

Could not be happier! These chairs are sturdy, nicely finished and a perfect match to the coffee table I bought last week. I will feel proud of our deck when we entertain. It looks lovely! Note: I noticed that some people said that they were difficult to put together. Both chairs took me maybe 20 minutes to assemble. I am a DIY Girl, but, honestly, it could not have been easier to assemble the chairs. I have no clue what their problem was.

Count on having to spend a couple hours sanding the rough edges, otherwise expect splinters. Also don't forget to apply a layer or two of weatherproof type sealer. The chair back is convex so it's not comfortable to lean back too far without an extra pillow on the back.

I bought this table as a place for packages to be set on my entry porch. The wood is dense, and I believe acacia is pretty robust in outdoor weather. The stain is even and attractive. Construction is careful: things fit together well without interferences or gaps. There were no issues in assembly, even the one spare part was left over. My expectation is that this table will last a decade or two outdoors with no direct sunlight and no direct rain. Maybe more. Six weeks after assembling it, I'm very pleased.
