Review: Perfectly adorable! - We lost one of our hens and my daughter was very sad. I bought the Mother hen with her chicks to make her feel better and to remember her little hen by. She loved it! It’s nice and heavy, well constructed, life size and expensive looking. I’m hoping it does well in our Oregon rain, snow and wind. I was very impressed by it and would recommend for a sweet yard ornament.

We lost one of our hens and my daughter was very sad. I bought the Mother hen with her chicks to make her feel better and to remember her little hen by. She loved it! Love this set! Very well made. I do wish it would come in galvanized (gray) finish, but black is fine. I have real free range chickens and at times I think it's one of them! I have this set on landscape rocks. It's usually windy at my house. Them setting on rocks isn't a good combo. They do blow over, but I expected it. It's nothing some small stakes can't fix.
