This product is effective for swimming but was delivered with a small hole in it and didn't look like a new product at all.

Extremely useful gloves
Honestly I thought these things would be more gimmick than useful on the reef but I was very wrong. The gloves are a rubber or silicon material with the same material welded over the fingers to create the webbing. The gloves are just thick enough that handling the occasional pokey piece of live rock didn't pierce the material, but I still retained a bit of sensation of what I was touching. I was pretty rough with these things during my spearing dives but they show no signs of wear and tear.In terms of their function as a swimming aid, I found them extremely helpful in maintaining my depth/position on the reef. When I used my hands to assist in my forward motion they added a considerable amount of pull to my stroke. I was also able to use them to wave sand away from clams and such I was investigating on the sea floor.Way more useful than I was anticipating and I would definitely recommend them.

Difficulty with getting them on and off and keeping them from sticking together inside the glove.
I personally have found them to be exceptional in the water but that does't, for me, balance the very VERY big difficulty with getting them on or off and their susceptibility to sticking and I mean real sticking together inside the glove if you slip-up and do not dry them thorough inside and powder them inside methodically after use every time you use them.Philip W

Un altro pianeta...vengo da prodotti similari in plastica rigida o in neoprene, ma non c'è confronto. Ottima vestibilità e non interferisce con lo stile della nuotata. La resistenza è uniforme e non si percepisce un sovraccarico sulle strutture muscolo tendinee, ma un carico maggiormente allenante...unico neo(se si può definire tale)..non riesco più a farne a meno. Li indosso durante tutta la pratica di allenamento e sono molto gratificanti...Buona nuotata. ConsigliatissimiSpedizione lunghetta ma vengono da lontano.
