Not sure how it will hold up or if it will tarnish but the piercing process itself was great. No pain or bleeding. I bought another set of disposable piercing machines from the brand Firstomato since this seller had a limit of one purchase of this product per customer. But the ones from Firstomato had missing/broken pieces and were unusable, one of their machines also got stuck in my ear. so I was relieved these worked with no issues. I would recommend and purchase again.

I have never had my ears pierced before and decided to order this because I didn't want to spend a ton of money getting them done. For my lobes I order the largest size of studs and they look really good. I was nervous about the pain but it honestly did not hurt at all. My best friend pierced my ears for me and it was such an easy tool to use. Once you wipe your ear and mark the spot, all you have to do is push the contraption together and your ears are pierced. I highly recommend this product if you don't want to spend a ton of money getting your ears pierced!

Years ago I got the wild hair to get my ears triple pierced. After over a year of having them pierced (and paying in excess of $70 to get them done in a storefront) I ended up in a coma during which the medical staff removed all of my piercings and left them out for the month I was “sleeping”. When I awoke, I was unable to move any of my appendages and therefore could not put my earrings back in. When I was, finally, able to find a kind nursing assistant who was willing to help me with my jewelry, I was saddened to find that my third piercings had closed, to my surprise. While in the coma, heartbreakingly, my mother passed unexpectedly. I hadn’t realized how much those piercings meant to me, being something I had gotten done with my mom and something that was part of my “pre-coma” life and my life before losing my mom … a part of my pre-trauma “normal”. I guess that was until my nieces went for piercings a few weeks ago, one of which was a triple ear piercing. I didn’t want to spend the $100 they paid for a set of cheap studs and someone using a piercing gun. So I started researching people that pierced themselves. After looking through reviews on Amazon for the best, and cheapest options, I found these. Though I can’t say I was brave enough to pierce myself, I CAN say that, with a little bit of lidocaine cream on each lobe, and a brave friend, I am now the proud “owner” of three sets of piercings in each ear (with a fourth on the ear that I have my cartilage pierced). The process was quick and virtually painless. The ONLY criticism I have for this kit is that there is no sterile marker to use to mark where you want the piercings. I was fortunate to have small indentations where my old piercings had been.Btw’s, does anyone know what in the world is with the odd little shower cap looking ear covers that come with the kit?!Also, I would highly recommend getting a piercing cleaning solution to anyone using this. Post piercing care is essential for the success and healing of your knew “holes in your head” (as my dad loving calls them). You should be cleaning and rotating your piercings at least 3 times a day.
