2 Jahre nach Kauf Juli 2015 haben wir nach 2 Wochen Urlaub heute die Abdeckung (wie Luftpolsterfolie) vom Pool abgenommen. Danach lagen im Pool und Gras unter er Folie hunderte kleine Teile der Luftpolsternoppen. Die Teile sind einige Millimeter rund, eben Noppen der Folie. Als Gefahr für Kinder, Vögel und Umwelt haben wir Stunden lang kleine Kunststoffteile eingesammelt. Die wenigen nötigen und wichtigen Schritte zur Produktentwicklung einer runden Poolabdeckung sind Verschleiss und Verfall des Materials um Umwelt und Kinder zu schützen. Aus meiner Sicht hat der Hersteller ohne zu Gedanken fähig zu sein rücksichtslos ungeeignetes Material wohl ohne jede Expertise verwendet. Da Poolabdeckungen wohl in grossen Tranche an Material produziert wird kann man nur vor Verwendung warnen, die Folie zeitgerecht und richtig entsorgen und durch eine nicht Noppenfolie ersetzen. Aus meiner Sicht sollte von Verwendung solcher Produkte gewarnt werden.

Although it is quite light it is durable and easy to put on the pool. It helps to trap in the warmth and stops debris going in the pool It fits our 15ft circular pool well with a bit to go up the side.

Very easy to use

Because of the pandemic, pool supplies are really hard to find. So I found this one, but the price was almost double what it would have been in the retail store where I bought the pool. Our nights get cool, so without a pool heater, I needed the solar blanket and am really thankful to have found one on Amazon. It does not tear easily as other reviews state. It is like a the bubble protectors in your shipping packages, so it needs to be properly put on and taken off. I literally just roll it like I would a sleeping bag. Then I have 2 very dull type U hooks mounted on my deck so I carry it over my head (not heavy for an adult) and lay it on the hooks. When I take it off the hooks, I am careful to lift it vertically to clear the hooks as it could get hooked. Look after it, don't be rough and it will last at least a few years. My pool is chlorine but monitored so hopefully wont weaken it over time. I have had this for more than a month now and it easily raises the water temp from around 70-74 to 80-82, so with kids is well worth the price....just was higher due to demand or shortages on the supply side, which I didn't appreciate. Will buy again when this one wears out. My pool is 16' round and this lays perfectly with about 2" clearance and that is awesome because when my pump is running, the blanket moves in a circle and that helps with the water movement as well.

We bought this in May 2018 ..was great that year and 2019..this year it has fallen apart..with the plastic bubble disintegrating and coming off in our water.Not sure if a cover is supposed to last more than two year - all I know is ours has not.
