Reasonable priced for beginners because...
Kodak offers quality 400 Tx film that you can self develop at fair price. If you don't know film speeds, it should work for you unless you want to shoot at night. And even then with experience you might be able to work with it. I've gone back and forth between Illford and Kodak as a standard everyday film, and I have decided that they are very similar. It's not anything special or super high quality, but it'll do the job. I'll add that it's also pretty forgiving when spooling goes wrong. It's not so stiff of flimsy that that it becomes laborious to unspool and respool if you're just learning.

I really like this film
I really like this film. It's worked great for me as a photography student. Very easy to develop, and also faster developing time than other films like Ilford. I do get some water spotting...but 99.9% sure that is my fault and by no means the film.Attached my favorite photo I've taken with this film, to give you an idea of grain etc.

This review reflects shipment and quality of item received. Film arrived soundly, faster than the five days indicated on the order with no visible sign of exposure to elements. I've shot two of the five rolls with no issue and will develop shortly.

Great Film
This is great, very forgiving, b&w film. The 400 speed makes it very versatile. I like how the grain is there, but not so much that it overpowers the picture. You can push this film to 1600 or even 3200 with great results.
