I purchased the TOPEC 18-Piece Bolt Extractor Set to remove a frozen bolt on my lawn mower when attempting to change the blade. The hex head was rounding off, and nothing else seemed to work. Before trying this set, I sprayed the bolt in WD-40 for a couple of days and attempted removal with: • A spanner • A spanner with an extension • Locking pliers • A socket set with a ratchet None of them worked—the bolt just kept slipping. Then I tried the TOPEC extractor, and it worked with very little effort! The grip was solid, and the bolt came right out. This set saved me from a major headache and possibly having to drill out the bolt. ✅ Great grip ✅ Easy to use ✅ Saved me time and frustration As expected, the bolt head was ruined in the process, but I have a spare on the way in the post. Still, this tool did exactly what I needed it to do. Highly recommended!

Helped me alot, needed to get rounded nut from the the catalytic converter. Just pay attention to the fact that you will need middle size wrench i think it's 3/4 size. I missed that and needed to be a bit creative.

Purchased for removing locking wheel nuts Removed all 4 locking wheel nuts in 5 min. You want a snug fit and hammer the socket onto the bolt. If you have spinning locking wheel nuts you need to remove the spinning part first! Good points: This set came with the tool to knock out your bolts out of the socket. Also comes with an attachment to attach to a drill/impact wrench. I found beaker bar easier. They sell 2 similar sets on Amazon with or without the 2x additional tools mentioned above. There is only a £1 difference between to two sets so I would definitely recommend this set with the additional tools. £27.99 - £28.99. The only bad point about this set is that I had to purchase a 1/2” Female to 3/8” male socket adapter separately to fit my 1/2” Halfords Advanced breaker bar! Come on Topec, if your selling to the Uk this should be included in the set! Marked it down 1 star due to having to purchase an adaptor to fit Uk ratchet/breaker 1/2” size. Would have been 5 Stars otherwise.

I had read a few reviews about this TOPEC bolt extractor set, some good others not so good, however, overall it is quite well received, so i took the plunge and bought the set as i needed something to remove a damaged nut from my strimmer (you may need to buy a wrench as that is not included in this set) and i am very pleased (and relieved) to say it removed the smoothed off nut easily - i am well impressed !! i didn't use any penetrating oils either, So i can and will recommend this extractor set, it is a well made socket set and i think it is great value for money too !

Had some seized bolts on the Engine Shield/Cover in my car that not even the workshop was able to get out. Followed their advice and bought this tool and I am very pleased. It does destroy the head of the bolts, but it also gets it out without having to cut it (that would be a nightmare) I used a hatchet with 60mm which also helps greatly. Used it for 4 bolts and there's no sign of damage. The box seems to be sturdy and the kit will probably last for a lifetime.
