**Q: what represents tx and rx?  Is there a pinout mapping?**
A: The terminal block itself only has the numbered pin information on each screw terminal.  The Arduino Mega 2560 has 4 UARTs (8 pins) that can be used for external communication.  This link might help: https://www.electroschematics.com/7963/arduino-mega-2560-pinout/

**Q: Does this draw power from the Arduino or can a separate 5V be supplied to this board?**
A: It draws a very small amount of power (Only for the red LED) from the Arduino Board if you only works with. Also you can connect a external power supply through the dedicated terminals.It offers the same Arduino functionalities, but with a terminal block version.

**Q: Why are pins 14-21 and  0-1 red?**
A: Outside of the power pins being red, pins 0, 1 &14-21 are for serial communications pins (Tx & Rx) and that's all they can do.

**Q: How do you wire external power to this board? most hats have  a jumper to select mega power or external power with dedicated power inputs.**
A: There are several terminals for 3.3 and 5 volt connections.  There are also terminals for GND.  You can hook up whichever power you want.  If you use the barrel connector the terminals will have Mega power on them.  If you use an external supply that will power the Mega.
