At this stage of my life (I recently retired from construction) I didn’t want to invest in a full track/plunge saw, instead I purchased an adaptor base for my saw, turning it into a track saw, then I bought two Dewalt tracks plus this connector rod from powertec. I was fitting my own kitchen and this set up has been a game changer for me. I’ve been cutting gloss faced decor panels 2.100 metres long with perfect, straight results thanks to the connector rod and adaptor base.
