Encyclopedia of Animals

A fun, educational book with the most beautiful illustrations. Just the perfect length of writing to introduce children to new animals without making them bored with too much info. I purchased this copy as a gift, but will definitely grab another copy for our kids, too.I already purchased the Insect Encyclopedia and will be looking for more books from this illustrator!

I bought this fabulous book for my 9 year old niece for Christmas and she loves it!I scanned through it before wrapping and it transported me back to memories of reading my first book "The Wind in the Willows" It's a real page-turner and my niece and I both hope for a sequel/trilogy to Vik's adventures...a great buy indeed

Great book and very good illustration.

LOVE this book! The illustrations are realistic which I appreciate because I personally dislike ones that look too animated or cartoonish. My 3yo and 1yo both love it and are always pointing out animals for me to read about. They’ve already learned so many names of animals! I love that they list a quick info about what the animal eats and where it lives.

This was a great recommendation! Not disappointed and the price was the best! The information is not overwhelming for younger kids, it will be a starter point for them to do more research. The images are appealing too.
