I used this for the first time yesterday, and was not sure what to expect. I found it worked really well at stuffing 1½" salami casings. It is easy to fill and the crank works nicely. The problems I found are not that bad, the instructions could be better, cleaning is a little difficult. Maybe the worst problem is the amount of meat left behind the pusher plate, over a half pound. A tighter seal on the pusher plate would be nice.

My sausage casings finally arrived today and I was able to put this little sausage stuffer to use! It is FABULOUS! It is soooo easy to use. I managed to make about 5 lbs. of sausages by MYSELF without the need of a third hand! The suction plate on the bottom stuck to my counter and did not move a bit! Almost no sausage meat was left in the machine and only a very small bit managed to squeeze past the plunger. The clean up was easy and everything washed thoroughly. The only thing I needed was a fat stick to push the last of the meat through the nozzle into the casing. Other than that PERFECT! I am absolutely thrilled with my sausage stuffer! (And my sausage was delicious!)

Arrived as advertised and on time. What a time saver over my cuisinart grinder sausage attachment. As other reviews have said, the suction base did dismount a few times but it was managable and seemed related to how much downward force I was putting on the handle. I made a simple push rod to help with the loading and it worked great. Quality seems good and and there was not any waste. I made chorizo and the small amount left in the tube at the end I made patty. Easy to clean. I will not be putting mine in the dishwasher. Push rod pic attached. 4 stars due to the suction base.

Poor suction is an understatement. It is just a matter of time before the suction cup rubber begins to fail considering the amount of force it needs to withstand when using smaller diameter casings. Screw clamp would have made this a really good stuffer. If you plan on using it on a regular basis expect failure. This is a shame considering the rest of the stuffer is good quality for the price. Mine failed on first use. Possible it arrived already damaged and I did not notice.

Like how sturdy it is but the suction...what suction??? I had to ask my wife to hold down the body as it keeps on moving as it turn the handle...
