I have done some brake jobs before where some of the included hardware might be within spec but it's so close to being out that it was a struggle - whether its springs or shims or otherwise. The stopping power is amazing compared to stock setup. Worth the money (paid under $500 w/tax when on sale). A few times at slower speeds when driving from parked (after rain) there was some minimal squeaking but IMO it's negligible and the tradeoff for the stopping power is a no brainer. In the past 5 months it squeaked just a handful of times for a few seconds for me.
