Replaced my mother's Philco stereo. She is in her 80s. She likes it and the remote. I have not tried recording to a digital device yet. Sound is good. Ease of use between LP, cassette and CD is good. She can operate them all!Thank You

great little stereo player for the cost

I was so excited to purchase this item, so we could play our old records. But the needle on the record player is not a good quality and it sometimes scratches the records. Jensen used to be a quality manufacturer of electronics.

I was excited to receive this item and get is set up as I'd been seeking a shelf system for a while. Admittedly, it arrived on time and was very east to set up, and even lived up to expectations ... for a couple of weeks at least.A couple of other reviews referred to the slow read and play of the CD player, and in retrospect, that should have been the red flag I focused on. 2 months in, the CD player struggled to read CDs and skipped often. 3 months now and the CD player is completely inoperable, as is the tuner.I regret this purchase immensely, especially as I know I can't return or exchange it now. My advice is to steer clear of this unit.

Small size and sound is ok but I thought it would sound a little better than what it was
